Rokytne district, Rivne region. Late 19th – early 20th century.

Restored by authentic samples from museum collections. The set includes: a shirt, trousers and a belt.

The shirt is made by ‘ustavka’ cut (with inserts), sewn of homespun unbleached linen. On the collar, armhole, cuffs, wrists and hem it is decorated with geometric ornaments embroidery, made by the ‘zavolikannia’ technique – “zavolochene”.

Trousers are made of homespun, grey and white linen, check-woven in “rabi”.

Woven “branyi” belt is made of white, undyed wool, by means of the technique of mesh and laced weaving; tassels are knitted at the ends.
